Cappelli del Vescovo: literally translates to English as “Bishop’s Hat”.

This is an egg based pasta. The filling is asparagus, peas and fresh basil.

It is served with Salsa di Pomodoro and Burrata cheese which elevates the flavours of the filling.

  • Cooking Instructions

    Put on a large pan of water to boil, when boiling add a good pinch of salt. Add the Cappelli del Vescovo to the water and cook for 4 minutes. In a separate pan heat the sauce (Salsa de Pomadoro) until it simmers, then put it to one side.

    When the pasta is ready drain in a colander then add it to the sauce, add the burrata and mix well.

    Using tongs and a spoon transfer to plate/s.

    00 flour (WHEAT), eggs (EGG), olive oil, onions, garlic, carrots, tomato, basil, peas, asparagus, burrata (DAIRY), salt, pepper.  

  • Storage

    Herts Pasta can be kept in the fridge for a maximum of 2 days. Not suitable for freezing.
